When Everything Went Wrong. The Story Behind the Divine Mercy Bracelet.

Divine Mercy

Divine Mercy has always been close to my heart. So when this community asked me to create a Divine Mercy bracelet for our Saintly Stacks Collection, I was thrilled—and resolute. I wanted it ready in time for Divine Mercy Sunday. I had the vision, a clear deadline, and a sense of mission.

I thought this would be one of my easiest launches.
It turned out to be the hardest.

At first, things were going great. I invited the Lily & Lamb community to vote on the bead colors, and together we chose a combination that felt just right. I was obsessed.
But after only a week of wear-testing, the colors faded to a dull gray.

I was devastated.

I knew I couldn’t launch something that wouldn’t hold up. So we went back to the drawing board—sourcing new beads, testing durability, trying to stay on track with our timeline.

That set us back, but I still held onto hope. Then, the final samples arrived… and the colors were completely wrong.

Production came to a screeching halt. Divine Mercy Sunday came and went.

At that point, I had to surrender.
I prayed the words I’ve clung to many times as a Catholic entrepreneur and mother of five:

Jesus, I trust in You.

Then, finally, I got word: the bracelets had shipped.

But when my warehouse manager opened the box…

It was full of Disney Cruise bracelets.

Yes, really. You can’t make this stuff up.

For a few moments, I truly thought the real shipment was lost somewhere across the globe. My heart sank again.

But by the grace of God, the correct bracelets were quickly located and sent to us within two days.

We were back in business. Or so I thought.

The very next day, while making breakfast for my kids, I sliced my finger badly—badly enough that I had to work the rest of the day with it bandaged and barely usable.

That was the moment it all hit me:
This bracelet wasn’t just another product.
This was a spiritual battle.

And in the middle of that storm, I thought about St. Faustina and the message Jesus gave her when she was facing obstacles in her mission:

👉 “Do not be discouraged by the difficulties you encounter in proclaiming My mercy. These difficulties that affect you so painfully are needed for your sanctification and as evidence that this work is Mine.”

I’m no St. Faustina, but maybe—just maybe—this little act of creating and sharing these Divine Mercy bracelets is a small way I can join her in spreading Christ’s mercy.

Today, I can finally say: they’re here. The Divine Mercy bracelets are ready.
And they carry a deeper meaning than I ever expected.

If you’ve been waiting for them, thank you for your patience. And if you’re just hearing about them now—I’d love for you to take a look.

Because behind each bracelet is a story of surrender, perseverance, and trust.
